Welcome to 4th Grade!
Hi my name is Holly Sills and I am your child's 4th grade math and science teacher. I am happy to be back at my home school of North Cove. This is my 13th year teaching.
My husband and I have 2 wonderful sons, Hunter and Rylan. We enjoy camping, deer hunting, going to the beach, and just spending time together.
I love to read, drink my cappuccino, scrapbook, spend time with church family and friends, make jewelry, and just relax with my boys!!!

What we are learning:
We have been working on area and perimeter. The kids have went full force using this knowledge to design their own house plans. I love to see their creativity at work!
We will also begin fractions the week of Feb. 6th. So be on the lookout for a little homework coming soon to review that with your fourth grader.
Thanks to all who came to parent teacher conferences. We appreciate your team effort!
We are working hard party planning. We are using our addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills to plan a themed party. We have a budget of $200! Let's see how far we can stretch our dollar.
The groups were responsible for staying within the budget to plan for decorations, food, beverages, treat bags, etc. They had to be careful to watch quantities and costs. Then students presented their party ideas to their peers. Next, they were graded with a rubric that was given to them prior to their presentations.
